The Ying Wa Girls' School Alumnae Choir [the Choir] serves as the platform for bonding alumnae of different generations through music and enhancing our sense of belonging to the Ying Wa community.

The Choir was established in 1999 for preparing the Centenary celebration of the school. We made the debut performance at the Founder's Day anniversary dinner in 2000. Thereafter, the Choir has been holding regular singing practices at the school and performing regularly on various school and AA events such as the Founder's Day Service, Prayer Day and Homecoming Day. With dedication and contribution of all members, we have been developing stably over the years.

Through regular practices, the Choir strives to raise members' interests in singing, help members to acquire and improve their singing techniques gradually. We welcome alumnae with any (or none!) music exposure and experience. We love to share the sisterhood and music with you all!
