Morning walk from Meadowbank to Homebush Bay Corso

On 15 July 2024 (Monday), a group of four of us (including a new member) enjoyed a lovely morning walk on a sunny day.  We began our journey at Meadowbank train station, crossed the John Whitton Bridge, and followed the Homebush Bay Corso along the Parramatta River.

Despite the chilly and windy conditions, the sunshine made the walk pleasant, and we took many photos along the way.  Our walk concluded with a fascinating view of the shipwreck lookout.

Lunch gathering in Rhodes

After the walk, we had a wonderful lunch gathering at Lilong by Taste of Shanghai in Rhodes.  Despite it being a Monday, the seven of us were able to come together, enjoying great conversation and catching up.  It was especially delightful to reconnect with Mimi Lam who joined us for the first time in four years, and to warmly welcome our new member, Isabel Luk.

The delicious combination of dim sum and Shanghainese cuisine added to the experience, and we were the last group to leave the restaurant because we just couldn’t stop chatting!

We hope you can join us next time.  In the meantime, our warm regards to you all!
