Welcoming Our New Vice Principal: Mr Ng Wing Wo
Wong Cheuk Lam, Charmaine ('17)
We are thrilled to introduce our new Vice Principal, Mr Ng Wing Wo, who has been a dedicated member of the Ying Wa family for almost two decades. While some may view him as a workaholic, his commitment to education is rooted in genuine passion. This fervour is deeply inspired by our former Principal, Mrs Ruth Lee (’72), whose sincerity and wisdom left an indelible mark on him. As a History teacher, Mr Ng is particularly attuned to the nuances of human interaction, finding immense satisfaction in the warmth and humanness of our school community. It is this rich environment that fuels his motivation to strive harder each day.
Enriching learning and teaching experiences
With the completion of our campus redevelopment, Mr Ng envisions a new chapter focused on enriching learning and teaching experiences. In an ever-changing world, he understands the importance of adaptability; if we fail to keep rowing the boat upstream, we risk drifting backward. He has zealous plans to enhance academic opportunities, particularly through advanced programmes for gifted students, fostering a diverse learning landscape. Equally important is his commitment to prioritising students' physical and mental well-being, while expanding their horizons for career planning, connecting them to both the motherland and the global community. For the staff, he aims to promote a more thoughtful deployment plan, ensuring effective resource distribution and collaboration.
Exciting journey ahead
As Mr Ng steps into his new role, he is still finding his footing and is immensely grateful for the support from his colleagues. His goal is to lay a solid foundation for the school’s future development, ensuring a seamless transition as we prepare for the retirement of Mr Kwan, our Principal. Together, we look forward to an exciting journey ahead under Mr Ng's leadership as our Vice Principal.
