In this issue, we have three articles about teachers who have just retired from Ying Wa. We wish them happy retirement! We are pleased to see the overseas chapters are vibrant with gatherings, connecting the alumnae and building the Ying Wa community in the respective cities. Yet, they have not forgotten our alma mater in Hong Kong. Some of them made the efforts to attend the Homecoming Day in March this year and shared their experience with us. This is heartwarming. Furthermore, we are deeply touched by the sharing of some alumnae in memory of Chan Man Lai (’67) who contributed significantly towards geriatric care in Toronto. There are also articles about alumnae working in interesting fields, namely archives, curation and teaching inside a prison. Enjoy reading!
