We gathered at my home for lunch on 13 June this year.  Each of us prepared a dish to share.  Our husbands and friends were invited to join in too!

There were plenty of food such as Singapore fried rice noodles, spring rolls, homemade baked char siu buns, chicken pies, sushi, seasoned beef and eggs and of course healthy vegetables and cucumbers and fruit platter too.

Altogether we have 15 people who came from different parts of Melbourne.  Doreen spent two hours to come.  How amazing!  Marina came with her husband George who is 96 years.  She is our former principal Mrs Katherine Chau's sister.  Our youngest one is Ava.

We sat down and talked to know more about each other and recent happenings until late afternoon.  Ava told me that there are two more Ying Wa girls who may be too busy with housework and children this time.  Hence, I suggest that we can zoom one day.

Ying Wa girls are capable of living independently and also willing to help others.  I wish this spirit can continue.  God Bless Ying Wa.
